Xtreme Cage Combat at its best, this XCC signature event was held in Tacoma, Washington at the Tacoma Dome. Watch a fight from this event by selecting it on the playlist below the flash video player.
Sixteen year old MMA fighter, Tylar “The Phenom” Michaelis in his second US MMA 155lb Championship belt defense, submits opponent Elliot Alleman with an arm bar at 2:16 in round 1. Winning the belt when he was still 15, Tylar has been putting most of his energy into his wrestling team at Black Hills High School, Tumwater, WA under coach Mark Greinstaff.
Tylar grew up in an MMA gym owned by his father, Trevor “Macho Man” Mechaelis, surrounded by the likes of Dennis “Superman” Hallman and Jeff “The Snowman” Monson, both of whom have fought in the UFC, among many others. He was the first Freshman wrestler at Olympia High School to compete at the statewide level before a move to a new district.
Elliot Alleman is still a major force in southern WA, going on a winning streak at Road to Victory fight events at Kesler’s in Longview after getting caught by the young Michaelis at the Tacoma Dome. We hope to have him back soon after taking a bit of a respite to train.
Elliot defeated Jerry Allen (Team Precise, Kelso) at a Road to Victory to gain the Tacoma Dome slot. Tylar has also met Jerry Allen at RTV since XCC4- look for highlights in upcoming episodes of XCC-TV
